The ADL Tweet (how
humanity has declined, that we now seek truth in little soundbites ludicrously
called Tweets, as if we were living in a cartoon) says: "1/2 @WhiteHouse
statement on #HolocaustMemorialDay, misses that it was six million Jews who
perished, not just 'innocent people'"
It is not true, as the ADL claims, that Jews were the only group singled out for
destruction. Gypsies were targeted for total elimination. Captured Soviet
soldiers were targeted for elimination in numbers second only to the Jews (more
than three million were murdered!), through planned starvation in order to
decimate the Slavic population. These and other planned mass murders were
actions stemming from Nazi ideology, just as the attempt to eliminate the Jews.
In Yugoslavia, the Ustashe, Croatian clerical fascists who were intimate allies
of the Nazis, killed over a million Serbians, as well as tens of thousands of
Gypsies and Jews, actions Hitler warmly approved.
Simon Wiesenthal always opposed describing the Holocaust as exclusively the
planned murder of the Jews based on racial theory, and we agree with him. The
way in which the Jews were central to the Holocaust -- besides being one of the
groups targeted for TOTAL elimination, and being the largest category of
victims -- is that antisemitism, the theory that 'The Jews' are evil conspirators who
run or try to run the world to persecute Gentiles, was the motivating core of
Nazi ideology, and played a key role in general in Nazi crimes.
For example, Slavs were portrayed as dupes or tools of 'The Jews.' Hitler said
the U.S. and Britain were tools of 'The Jews.' In the same way, today, Farrakhan
says whites are tools of 'The Jews' and David Duke says blacks are tools of 'The
Jews.' Both Ayatollah Khamenei and the Muslim Brotherhood say most world powers
are tools of 'The Jews.' Hitler lives on.
So, the problem with Trump's statement was not merely that he did not explicitly
mention the Jews, but that he did not mention antisemitism -- which indeed does
live on and is as monstrously important as ever.

This article looks in-depth at the claim,
which the international media and many top
government officials have made, that the two Muslim Brotherhood encampments in Greater
Cairo were peaceful "sit-ins" or even "vigils." In order to understand
what happened on and after August 14, when the encampments were cleared, we
have to understand the nature of said encampments. If the media, the U.S.
state Department, the EU and others were right that the encampments were
peaceful "sit-ins," then the Egyptian government would not have a case. But if
we have been misinformed, if the encampments were in fact terror camps, then it
is a serious matter not only because of what this tells us about Egypt but also
because of what it tells us about the international media and governments, which insisted
that the encampments were assemblies for the peaceful expression of
ideas.

TENC editor Samantha Israel and I (Jared Israel) have just
left Banja Luka, capitol of Republika Srpska, where we
attended a meeting of the Commission
on Jasenovac (the Croatian death camp), staying for a week
afterwards for useful and enlightening meetings and for TV
interviews. One of the Commission's duties is to organize
conferences on Jasenovac. The proceedings of one of those
conferences (the fourth) includes a paper I wrote replying to
Wiesenthal Center director Efraim Zuroff's harsh criticism of my
stance, that Croatia's attempt to reduce the number of victims
at Jasenovac from 700,000 plus to 70,000 or fewer constitutes
Holocaust denial. Zuroff's criticism of me can be read on
TENC.

August is the 9th anniversary of “The
Trail of Tears.” As the world
watched, a quarter million Serbs were driven from their homeland by
US-led Croat troops. The road in the picture below is
called the
‘Highway of
Brotherhood and Unity.’

On 4 August 1995,
the Croatian Army invaded the Krajina section of Yugoslavia. Within a
few days 250,000 Serbian residents were refugees or dead. Croatian death
squads then combed the area, hunting those who could not or would not
leave. Thus ended a five year struggle - from 1990 to 1995 - during
which the Krajina Serbs resisted
domination by secessionist Croatia. Why did they resist? To begin to understand, please

the 1947 report issued by the Yugoslav Embassy in Washington DC. Written
to justify the trial of Croatian Catholic Archbishop Stepinac, the
report describes how the Catholic Church formed the backbone of the Nazi
Ustashe state, which tried to destroy the
